Welcome
The Latin America and Caribbean Newborn Health Alliance welcomes you to this web site designed to share progress, news and successful experiences in improving neonatal health in the Americas.
The Newborn Alliance is an interagency group which promotes newborn health within a Reproductive, Maternal and Child Health continuum. The group promotes evidence-based policy and programmatic interventions at the facility and community levels and supports countries in the LAC region in their efforts to reduce newborn mortality and morbidity.
On this site you can find news, events, and technical resources and tools related to newborn health in the region. You can also link with the member organizations of the Newborn Health Alliance and with other web resources related to improving care of the newborn.
